Choosing a photographer can be time consuming and difficult. I want to avoid wasting your time or making this experience challenging for you. In the end, you are the one spending your hard earned money and investing in someone to capture your precious moments, so let's ensure I am the right fit for your needs! Please take a few moments to read through my frequently asked questions below.
If you still have remaining questions, let's chat! I'd be happy to answer them.
Do you do photography full time?
What are your business hours?
Do you photograph weddings?
Do you travel for sessions?
What is your turn around time?
What is an online gallery?
Do you have a studio?
Can we post our images to social media?
No. I have a full time job that consumes the majority of my hours Mon-Fri. I would love to take this on full time but it is not in the cards for me right now. Maybe someday!
Since I do have a full time job, my hours of operation are pretty slim. I still however, do my best to respond within 24-48 hours and alter my work schedule to accommodate my photography client's needs.
Unfortunately, no. I think weddings are one of the most important days of your life and do not want to take on a wedding for someone when I'm not passionate or experienced in it. There are tons of photographers out there who specialize in wedding photography and I say... let's leave it to the pros. They will execute your big day much better than I ever could and have joy doing it also!
If you are interested in my contacts for local wedding photographers, let me know, and I will provide you with a list of my recommendations.
Of course! I am always up for a little road trip! Cost of travel is entirely based on your session and the journey. If you are interested in knowing the associated costs for travel, please reach out to me, and I would be happy to go over these with you.
As discussed above, this is something I am passionate about and do on the side of my normal life... which includes a full time job and home life with two small children. Therefore, my turn around time may be a tad bit longer than most photographers. To reduce your wait time I typically post a 'sneak peek' of your gallery 1-2 weeks after the session. The remainder of the session is provided 4-6 weeks later.
It is a private web page I post your session to that allows you and your family to view/download at the click of a button.
I do not. The majority of my sessions are photographed outdoors but I am open to in-home sessions if lighting allows it.
Yes! I want you to share your photographs in anyway possible. All online galleries have a "web size" download option. I would recommend using that to ensure your images do not get altered in anyway. I also ask that you tag my social media pages in any of your posts of my work.
